Don Nash was born in Portland and grew up in various small towns in Tillamook County. After high school, Don joined the Army during the Vietnam conflict. After an Honorable Discharge, Mr. Nash continued his education with help from the Vietnam Veteran’s GI Bill, attending the University of Hawaii with a degree in Asian Studies. As a result of these experiences, Don speaks Thai fluently. Coming full circle, Don is now the very proud of father of an U.S. Army Colonel.
Don has over 30 years of paralegal experience helping deserving persons obtain the best possible outcome for their personal injury claims. He has advanced litigation support skills, and a deep understanding of medical terminology, surgical procedures and impairment ratings. Don loves his job and is appreciated for his positive outlook!
Sam Pope was born and grew up in Lawrence, a college town in eastern Kansas. During colleg,e Sam spent his free time tutoring fellow students and volunteering with local non-profits such as the Kansas Visiting Nurses and local animal shelters. After receiving his BA in Chemistry from the University of Kansas, Sam worked for the non-profit Community Living Opportunities as a direct support professional, and then a manager, providing assistance to adults with disabilities. Sam came to Portland to study at Lewis & Clark, where he is currently a law student.
Sam has a strong drive to fight for those who have been wronged, and has a long career of public service ahead of him. Through his background in the sciences and other experiences, Sam has gained a solid understanding of medical terminology and anatomy. Sam spends most of his spare time entertaining his two dogs, but also loves to cook, hike, listen to music, and catch up on Netflix.
Felicha Hanley, our Case Manager is a Portland native who has 12 years of continuous service in the legal field. Felicha’s support experience covers a range from prestigious law firms like Frank X. Moore & Associates and The Johnnie Cochran Law firm all the way to the State Bar of Georgia. She is a graduate of Herzing University and currently lives in Vancouver, Washington
To most people, law doesn’t sound very interesting. To Austin, law is a passion he’s been chasing for over 3 years. Most recently, his work has landed him a position with RizkLaw where he’s focused on medical and lien organization, as well as working hard to ensure our clients get the legal services they need. Austin is currently pursuing an associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies. Austin’s hobbies include writing, spending time with friends and family, and advocating for equal treatment of marginalized communities. I guess you could say he’s living the dream.
After graduating from Sam Barlow High School in 2013, Ms Wright graduated from Mount Hood Community College with a degree in Office Administration. While in college, Katrina was active in student government. During her personal time, she enjoys reading, being outdoors and spending time with family, friends, and her boyfriend. She is a proud mom to her “fur baby” Winter. Katrina is excited to be a part of “Team RizkLaw” and is eager to learn and excel in her position.
