On May 9, 2013 Portland Lawyer Richard Rizk was named Advisor to The Oregon Money Management Program. About 85,000 Oregonians are extremely vulnerable to financial fraud and abuse due to advanced age or disability. Easter Seals in coordination with Oregon’s Department of Health and Human Services (DHS) operates The Oregon Money Management Program. The program helps qualified Oregonians with money management tasks. Money management services are provided by trained and supervised volunteers who work with each participant to address specific money management needs.
The Oregon Money Management Program is part of The AMERICAN ASSOCIATION of RETIRED PERSONS (AARP) Foundation. AARP Foundation offers Bill Payer and Representative Payee services for qualified Money Management Program participants.
