PORTLAND, OR – A woman was seriously injured when her vehilce crashed into the Clackamas river early Friday morning.
According to a report by KOIN, the woman drove off the ledge of the Clackamas Drive and skidded down an embankment into the river.
The Swift Water Rescue Team quickly extricated the woman from her vehicle. She was brought to the shore, where an ambulance was waiting to take her to Riverside Park Hospital.
It is unclear what caused her to lose control of her vehicle at this time.
