BEAVERTON, OR – A pickup truck slammed into a tattoo and body-piercing establishment in Beaverton yesterday after its driver lost control of the vehicle, KATU reports.
According to Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue, the collision happened at about 3 p.m. on Tuesday, near the intersection of Beaverton Hillsdale Highway and 91st Avenue. They say a driver lost control of a pickup truck, struck a power pole, and then ricocheted into the storefront.
No one was injured, although the power pole nearly hit a man who had been sitting on a nearby bench at the time.
The downed pole and powerlines landed in the roadway, impeding traffic in the area.
