SWEET HOME, OR – A 15-year-old girl was hospitalized after being struck by a car in the Sweet Home area on Wednesday morning.

According to Lebanon Local News, the girl was walking in the 1600 block of Main Street near 15th Avenue when she was hit by a 2009 Honda Civic.

The girl was taken to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Honda, 41-year-old Sudip Lamichhane, remained at the scene and cooperated with police. It is unclear if they will face any charges a this time.
